Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was very magical. Since Claire hadn't heard Santa she was pretty sure he hadn't made it. But when we went downstairs to check it was apparent he had stopped by. She was so excited. The only thing she asked Santa for were cookies but she also found an easel and a hippity hop which she now uses to get all around the house.

She is also enjoying her new CD player since she can do it all by herself. Along with the microphone which has one volume, loud.

Our Very Own Reindeer

We've Got Snow

The snow is fun but can "poke" your eyes when it is falling. Perhaps that is what they call sleet.

Claire and Santa had a nice chat.
She would like cookies for Christmas.
Santa said he could swing that.

Still a Beaver Believer...

We shall never speak of this year's
Civil war game again but I am still
a Beaver Believer!

Yearly Check-Up

I always get my yearly check-up.
This year I got nose spray (flu) to keep me healthy.

Halloween Bash

We're finally that couple.
The football player and the cheerleader.
Somehow I still don't think we have it quite right.

Washougal Pumpkin Party

Isn't she cute as a bug?
A ladybug that is.

The Pumpkin Patch

We headed out to Sauvie's Island to get our pumpkins. We have 3 because Claire is 3. At least that is her reasoning. It is also the spot where Garrick and I had our first date 6 years ago and the rest is history.

The Princess is 3!

We survived party number one. One more to go.

Claire had so much fun opening her "presenents."

Thanks to all the family for joining us for her special day. And a special thanks to Maddie for showing her the ropes of opening presents.

By the way, OSU Beavers beat USC!! In case you missed it. Meant to get some pics and video up about the game but no time and not quite savy enough to make it happen.

Go Beavs!

We finally won a game. Our first home game of the season against Hawaii.

It was about 100 degrees but very exciting.

As Claire told us in the morning when we were getting ready for the game.
"I'm so excited!"

First Day of Preschool

Claire had her first full day of preschool where she goes on the days I work.

Can't believe how fast it is going.

Hope you are all having a wonderful fall season. It's my favorite time of year.

Go Beavs!! (That first game was just practice:)

The Pacifier Princess

It was a tough weekend a couple of weeks ago.

Garrick took the bull by the horns so to speak and exchanged the pacifiers for a car.

Luckily I spent the weekend in Pendleton at Karen Jenkin's 40th B-Day Party.

Princess Dust!

A gift from the Pacifier Princess.

The Pacifier Princess left a car!

Gail Is 40!

I can't beleive I hit the big 40 this year. I still feel 21! I guess that's a good thing.

Except of course for the aches and pains of being older. Also those last nagging pounds aren't so easy to get rid of. But all in all I don't mind.
I kicked off this eventful year with a few of my close friends.

Here are a group of us from Pendleton, my home town. I graduated with 2 of the gals and Becky was just a year ahead of me. I feel blessed to have such good friends that I still get to see every now and then.

Welcome to our Blog!

I think we are finally in the new milenium. The day and age of the blog. Yikes.

After several days and hours of trying to work with our web page we have decided to try a blog to share fun pictures and what's new with the Washougal Zakovics.

We'll see how I do so keep checking in with us to see what's new!
